New Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani could make his Premier League debut against Chelsea.
The former Paris Saint-Germain forward, who joined the Reds on deadline day having been a free agent, could have to quarantine when he arrives in the UK.
A report in The Times says Cavani has been living among the population in France and has not been getting regular testing in a secure environment.
It means his debut in the top flight is likely to be delayed as he will be forced to go into quarantine.
Cavani arrived in Manchester on Sunday so will miss his new side’s next game – away at Newcastle United on Saturday, October 17 – as he will still be isolating.
